Are you a For Sale By Owner?



A note to the For Sale by Owner:  
You're a do-it-yourself kind of person --I respect that...I am too!  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  If I try something myself and it works, I've saved some money.  If it doesn't, I've learned something from the experience.  I don't think less of you because you try to save a few dollars.  You should see some of my do-it-yourself home repair projects!


Paperwork Only:  3%
You found a qualified buyer on your own but you need help with all the paperwork!  You just don't know what to do next!  You want to do all you can to stay on track for closing.  Fee is payable at closing, not in advance.  Neither the buyer nor the seller are "represented" because we aren't asking you to sign a listing agreement or asking the buyer to sign a buyer's agreement; however, we act as a facilitator and transaction manager to help you both arrive at acceptable terms and get to the closing table.  We do ask that you sign a document agreeing to pay our Paperwork Only fee at closing. 
 

 

Sellers:  Your assistance please.....

I need your feedback.  I've been giving consideration to starting a page where the For Sale By Owner can post a picture (or two) with a brief description of their home here on our website.  We aren't asking that you "list" the home but we would merely provide an online advertising spot for your property.  I haven't worked out all the legalities of it yet but here is what I need from you.  Do you think you would be interested in using this service if I can get it started?  There would not be a fee involved in posting your property on the "By Owner" page.  What I would probably ask is that you agree to pay a 3% fee to our office if a buyer is brought to you by one of our agents.....payable at closing as in a traditional transaction.   I would like to set up a system beneficial to both of us where you can get some additional exposure for your property and we can catch a few buyers along the way.  Well, what do you think?  Send me an email at talk2velda@yahoo.com to give me your comments.  Thanks!
